The quantity and type of substance can be individually adjusted. What are the risks and side effects?

Hyaluronic acid injections are a popular aesthetic procedure known for their safety and effectiveness. However, as with all medical procedures, there are certain side effects and risks that need to be considered. The most common side effects that can occur immediately after treatment include redness, swelling and bruising at the injection sites. These are usually mild and temporary and usually subside within a few days. Some patients also report a degree of pain or tenderness in the treated area, which usually subsides quickly. Although rare, there are also more serious risks that should be considered. These include the risk of infection at the injection site. Allergic reactions to hyaluronic acid are uncommon, but cannot be completely ruled out.
